Programs
At Buds & Blossoms, we provide a sound program to emphasize the
full development of each child. Individualized activities help every
child to appropriately meet their social, physical, emotional and
intellectual growth needs. Each of our teachers is a bilingual speaker
in Mandarin and English. Teachers are professionals who offer safe,
warm, happy and encouraging learning environments. Our teachers take
the life experience of each individual child as a base on which to
build. We encourage children to interact with each other and to
participate in their own learning. Through a Mandarin enriched learning
environment, children are well prepared to meet the challenges of
school.
We offer three programs:
Infant: 2 months – 15 months
- Enriched, individualized attention
- Nurturing teacher/child interactions
- Individualized schedule for feeding and napping
Toddlers: 15 months – 32 months
- Toys and equipment available to help build mental and physical creativity
- Individualized activities
- Socialization skills taught in a positive environment
Preschool: 2 years and 9 months – 6 years old
- Curiosity encouraged and challenges offered to stimulate growth
- Daily schedules include indoor and outdoor play
- A mix of quiet and active times meet childrens needs
- Social and self-help skills learning is build into each day
- Opportunities for physical, creative and intellectual development provided
- Appreciation for, and utilization of, music, art and drama as means for self expression is emphasized
